She’s been looking for the perfect man. She found two.
The dystopian society of Sector 4 is a place where inhibitions are freed and the darker side of passion and sex can be explored. For some of its inhabitants, it’s a sexual playground – a place where fantasies become reality…where the envelope is pushed to see how far someone can go until the pain becomes pleasure. For others, though, those who were a part of Eden and its rules and doctrines, it takes a bit longer to understand the concept of free love and partake in all its erotic pleasure. In Beyond Jealousy, two parts of the triad relationship of Rachel, Cruz, and Ace started their lives in Eden, living under a much different code than the one Ace has actively participated in since for years. But if they’re going to be able to see where their connection takes them, both Rachel and Cruz, more so him than her, need to let go of the restraints that still bind them to their old life.
Rachel, Cruz, and Ace have history together…some painful…some heartbreaking…some highly erotic. All three want to explore their feelings for one another, but the risk is never something all three are willing to take until their lust consumes them, and they finally realize that the inevitability of their relationship can no longer be denied. They know going in that someone may get hurt, but there’s no going back once they come together that first time.
Rachel, “Angel”, sacrificed her life for her family, her father, and has never looked back. For the most part, she’s given in to her sexual side, readily exploring some of her fantasies, but the one fantasy that stands out is being with two men, specifically, Ace and Cruz because the love she feels for both consumes her.
Cruz, “The Saint” or “The Hero,” needs to be in control and protect what’s his. It’s how he’s programmed…it’s what he was trained to do. Eden’s beliefs still rule his conscience, at times, so wanting what he wants messes with his head.
Ace, “The Sinner,” hides behind a mask of sexual bravado, never giving anyone a glimpse into his past or his fears. His self worth is miniscule, and the idea of love is a foreign concept because the life he led never factored in such a feeling.
But what all three don’t realize, at least at the beginning, is that perhaps this is what they’ve been looking for their entire lives…this is what they needed to feel whole…to feel loved…to feel that they belonged to another person. Perhaps, the Angel, the Saint, and the Sinner complemented one another in more places than just the bedroom.
The Beyond series and Sector Four is definitely my guilty pleasure. Kit Rocha creates an amazingly erotic and gritty world that explores people’s deepest desires. But it is so much more than that as well. The O’Kanes are a family; they have each other’s backs, and while they do their own share of illegal and reprehensible acts, they also look to right the wrongs that occur due to others warped sense of living and justice.
Beyond Jealousy explores the idea that love can be felt in different ways with different people…they just have to be willing to look past what they have always understood to be true and feel the truth that’s right in front of them.
I can’t wait to see what happens next for the O’Kanes and Sector 4. One thing is for sure, whatever it is, it’s going to be one hell of an erotic and heart stopping ride…a mix of pleasure and pain because that’s definitely the O’Kanes’ style!
Complimentary copy was given to me by the author in exchange for an honest review.
5 poison apples!
All Noelle Cunningham has ever wanted is a life beyond–beyond the walls of Eden, where only the righteous are allowed to remain, and beyond her stiflingly restrictive existence as a councilman’s daughter. But only ruins lie outside the City, remnants of a society destroyed by solar storms decades earlier.

Part of “MARKED“
New York Times and USA Today Bestselling author Lauren Dane takes you into a brand new world in “ALL THAT REMAINS”. Summer Killian falls fast and hard when Charlie arrives in Paradise Village. But the heat turns all the way up when she learns Charlie is also with Hatch – the man she loved three years before. While she’s not sure she’s cut out for a triad, neither man is going to give her up.
Take a “ROCKY RIDE” with New York Times and USA Today Bestselling author Vivian Arend as she leads you back to the Six Pack Ranch. Anna Coleman might be the law around Rocky Mountain House, but bad boy Mitch Thompson knows that under the stiff RCMP uniform is a woman with a passion for speed and pleasure that matches his own, and he’s not giving up until she’s his.
Kit Rocha returns to Sector Four in “BEYOND TEMPTATION”. A promise to a dying friend backfires when Noah Lennox finds that the girl he was supposed to rescue is all grown up–and wearing O’Kane ink. He wants to protect her from the secrets of their past, but she wants him. And an O’Kane woman always gets what she wants.

My favorite swag is something useful. A Pen, a nice fingernail file, a compact mirror, a tote bag to carry my book or kindle or a t shirt. Useful but also i can show off my favorite authors at the same time.
