Trust. It can take a lifetime to build, and be shattered in an instant.
My trust in men had been shattered.
The walls surrounding my heart were reinforced with steel so thick it was impenetrable.
And, then he came along. Zeke Stewart.
My worst nightmare.
The answer to my prayers.

I flove Kasey Millstead’s Down Under Cowboy series; there’s just something about filthy mouthed, Australian alpha cowboys who love their woman with every part of their heart and willingly walk through hell to ensure their safety, and Zeke Stewart is one fantastically fine addition, and Sienna needs him more than she’s ready to admit, at least at first.
Sienna’s past is not a pretty one, and a fresh start is definitely what she needed to escape those horrifying memories. Pine Creek is just the place for Sienna to find solace and a group of woman whose stories may not be the same, but they all share a common bond of dealing with harrowing experiences. What she didn’t count on was a man who makes her heart beat faster and her body react every time he’s in the same room with him. Sienna doesn’t want to want Zeke; it’s not something she can deal with, but she soon realizes, Zeke is not going to give her much of a choice.
Zeke is a man with tremendous patience, and he’s not afraid of a little work, especially when the payoff is a sexy woman like Sienna. He wants Sienna to trust him with her body and her heart, and he works his ass off to prove to her that she can.
Overall, I enjoyed Rogue Cowboy, but I also felt like the story moved too quickly, and I didn’t get the character insight that I’m used to. There was a lot of back story for both characters that just wasn’t there, leaving me with a multitude of unanswered questions. I wanted to see more of the progression of Sienna and Zeke’s relationship and how they get to where they are at the end.
I did love the addition of Ava and Jeremy’s novella; it only made that loving couple even more special! It focuses on a struggle that a lot of married couples go through when wanting to expand their family and the emotional turmoil that can ensue due all of the testing, etc. It’s an extremely heartfelt story that was a fantastic bonus in the Down Under Cowboys series.
Kennedy’s story is next and Cowboy Redemption is a fitting title for her due to what readers have seen her put other people through. I can’t wait to see what Kye has in store for her!

Kasey Millstead lives a quiet life in country New South Wales, Australia, with her husband and their four young children. She enjoys baking, singing (ridiculously out of tune) & spending time with friends and family. Kasey has always harboured a deep love for reading and writing, and she is now lucky enough to be living her dream of being an Author.
