Synopsis
Daisy “Little Flower” Anderson has lived her entire life on the sidelines of the Renegade Sons MC. Her father is a member, and her mother a club whore turned old lady. Not wanting to follow their footsteps, she chose a different path; one that keeps her close to the biker family she loves, but out of the club. Struggling to keep it together, she never thought she would have anything of her own, until she met Preach. He is everything she swore she didn’t want in life. One night of passion leads to unexpected consequences, and she knows, now more than ever, it’s time to move forward. Garrett “Preach” Austin lived his life caught in his father’s iron fist. He never thought he would want anything more than freedom from his past, until he met his “Little Flower”. She shows him there is more to life than pain. Preach has a secret; one that forces him to choose between Daisy and his brothers. Even though he loves Daisy, the Renegade Sons are the only true family he has. He knows he can’t have her, yet he can’t let her go. When Daisy moves on, Preach realizes what he’s lost. Can he prove that he’s the man for her, or is he too late?
Review:
I loved Renegade Reject, but I have to be honest, I don’t really know why it appealed to me so much because most of the time, I wanted to punch Preach in the nuts and drag one of the club whores by her hair and slap the shit out of her. This book had my stomach in knots constantly due to the angst and complications that consume Preach and Daisy’s relationship, but I think that’s exactly why I enjoyed book two a bit more than Kidd and Jenna’s story in book one. I always felt that eventually Kidd would get his old lady; I had no clue if Preach was going to pull his head out of his ass soon enough to claim who had always been his Little Flower. For that very reason, the book consumed me, and I couldn’t stop reading it until I knew for sure that Daisy got her happily ever after despite the shitstorm she had to go through to get there.
Preach
I lusted for him just as much as Daisy did when they first started spending time together. But as soon as he started thinking with his dick instead of his brain, it was game over for me. Yes, he had it rough growing up, and no one should have to endure what he did, and I understand he’s a biker, and the biker life has its own code that most outside the club wouldn’t agree with, but come on, he needed to own up to his mistakes way earlier than he did, and he also needed to put the bottle away and keep his dick in his pants.
Daisy
She never wanted to be a part of the biker lifestyle…until she met Preach. Everything changed when she fell in love with him, but as much as she loved him, she couldn’t see past his betrayal, which drastically changed not only her life but how she felt about herself. My heart broke for Daisy more than once because she had to endure not only an alcoholic father and a bitch of a mother, but she also had to witness Preach’s indiscretions on multiple occasions and deal with a stupid whore spreading rumors about her that many thought were the truth.
Preach and Daisy’s story is not an easy one to read; I don’t think I’ve ever read a book where the hero fucked up as much as he does, but Preach’s grandfather always said that Preach would know when he met the woman he was meant to be with, and Daisy is destined for him; I’m just not sure he deserves her. As much as I wanted them to get their shit together and work things out so that they could finally start the life they promised each other all those years before, a part of me wanted Daisy to get the hell away from Preach, her mother, and her ex best friend and start a whole new life with a guy who would treat her like she’s supposed to be treated.
Renegade Reject is an absolute must read! It’s a fantastic follow-up to Renegade Lady because even though Preach and Daisy’s story is not as dark as Kidd and Jenna’s, there’s still plenty of fucked up situations and complications to keep readers invested in the storyline. I love the fact that we get to catch up with all the same bikers from book one, and by keeping with the dual point of views from both the hero and heroine, we are given key insights into what’s going through their minds as they attempt to deal with the fall out of extremely bad choices. I think what draws me to this series the most is the fact that Emily Minton and Dawn Martens know how to create really fantastic evil characters. It takes quite a bit for me to truly loathe the antagonists, especially the female ones. Of course, they’re irritating and deserve payback for all shit they cause, but each and every one of the evil doers in this series I want to see dead before the story ends, and I don’t want it to be a quick death – I want them to suffer immensely. Thankfully, Emily and Dawn come through for me;)
The Renegade Sons Motorcycle Club definitely exists in a fucked up world, but it’s a place where readers can escape to and experience situations that will have them wanting to cuss out and hit characters as they work through one emotional incident after another.

Excerpt:
Preach “Can you do me a favor, brother?” Timber lifts his chin. “What’cha need?” Lifting a nearly empty bottle of beer, Maker motions for the prospect to bring him another. “I was supposed to pick up Little Flower, but I’m too drunk to have her on my bike. Can you run down to the diner and take her home?” “If you knew you had to pick up your daughter, why the hell have you been drinking?” He shrugs. “I didn’t mean to get drunk, but it just happened.” “If you for once put the beer down, it wouldn’t just happen,” Timber mumbles under his breath before looking toward me. “You wanna take a ride?” Nodding, I stand up and follow him outside. “I didn’t know Maker had a kid.” “He’s got a daughter, and she’s probably the prettiest little thing you’ve ever seen. His bitch of a wife keeps her away from the club, so she’s not around much. ” “Lula’s always here. Why doesn’t she let the girl come around?” He slides onto his bike before answering me. “Lula likes to be the center of attention. When her daughter’s around, she’s nothing but a shadow.” I climb onto my bike, wondering what is so special about this kid.
