Roxy Sloane expertly sets up the storyline for her Invitation series with the prequel, The Invitation #1, and leaves readers wanting to know more about the mysterious and elusive man who sends Justine Jenkins a provocative summons that just might change her life simply by agreeing to its contents, and if Ashton Pierce just happens to be the one behind the scenes calling the shots, readers and JJ are in for one hell of a steamy and erotic ride, and I for one can’t wait!

Before the invitation, Justine and Ash are typical MBA graduate students, working hard to get a job after graduation and letting off steam the best way they know how by having as much sex as they can get with all willing bodies except for each other. Early on in their friendship, they made a pact to not ruin what they have with meaningless sex, so the last two years, they’ve spent being one another’s best friends, sharing more with each other than anyone else. But with graduation on the horizon, both Justine and Ash want the proper send off and that’s one night of no holds barred sex with each other, and let me tell you, they don’t hold back; it couldn’t get any dirtier or hotter than when they give into what they’ve always wanted.

Ash and Justine’s scorching encounter will leave readers wanting more, and if I’m reading into everything correctly, it’s a great way to introduce what could possibly be round two for them; at least, that’s what I’m hoping for when The Invitation: Surrender is released.
