“This is a wild addiction, one that will never be tamed.”

When readers left Liv and Tyler at the end of Wild Temptation, both of their pasts had been revealed, but the acceptance of those pasts, particularly Tyler’s, was yet to be determined. But as the revelation continues at the beginning of Wild Addiction, it’s clear that Tyler’s bad decision is not something that’s going to destroy them; in fact, if anyone’s going to be responsible for their pseudo relationship imploding, it’s going to be Liv and the insecurities and doubts that are brought out by her addiction.

Liv’s addictive personality is brought to the forefront in the conclusion of her and Tyler’s story. Through her inner monologues, readers gain up close perspective into what her obsession to love entails. She questions everything that Tyler says and does as well as what he doesn’t. His profession as a photographer of beautiful models is a driving force in her insane feelings of jealousy, and it drives her to make rash decisions that end up hurting both of them. But her tunnel vision is something that she can’t control; her compulsion to need him every minute of every day slowly destroys her sanity and has her questioning everything about what Tyler could possibly mean to her and vice versa.

Throughout all of Liv’s insane reactions and mixed signals, Tyler remains steadfast in his commitment to her and goes out of his way to show her that he’s in it for the long haul, if she’d only open her eyes and see what’s directly in front of her. Tyler actually wants Liv addicted to him because it shows him how much he means to her because no matter how much she denies or refuses to admit that what they have is beyond sex and addiction, Tyler knows the truth and does his best to convince her that love not addiction can rule their relationship.

Love and addiction are complicated ideas and trying to mesh the two together into something that can be long lasting is not easily attained, but if a certain sexy Brit has anything to say about it, Liv is going to remain Tyler Stone’s Bitch for a lifetime.

I absolutely adored this series! Wild Addiction started off a little slow for me, and Liv’s neuroses made me want to shake her a few times, but once I got into the heart of the plotline and was shown how much Liv’s addiction and fears control her, everything started to make sense, and I couldn’t wait to see how Tyler was going to keep Liv from running. I loved that readers were with Liv and Tyler from the beginning, and we were able to witness this one night stand turn into so much more. Day and Aaron still play a pivotal role in Liv and Tyler’s final book, and they too get their time in the spotlight as their nuptials solidify their connection despite the long years apart. We also are introduced to Tyler’s sister, Tessa. She’s a sassy addition to Liv and Day’s friendship, and she fits in perfectly with all of them, which adds to the enjoyment of the book as well.

The Wild series by Emma Hart is sexy and explosive read that will have readers wanting their own “dirty Brit boy” and a friend like Tyler’s “sassy American bitch.”

“No, you don’t. You’re impulsive and indecisive and spur-of-the-moment.” He runs his nose up my neck. His breath coats my skin in a swath of heat that sends tingles through me. “It’s what I love about you. I love it when you don’t think.”

“Because when I do, I overthink to hell.”

“Precisely.” He smiles against my skin. “So stop thinking.”

“Especially that.” He laughs, his hands settling against my waist.

I expect them to slide down, to cup my ass and pull me toward him. They don’t. They flatten against the small of my back and linger there. The heat from his hold seeps through the material of my sweater.
