I always know that when I pick up a Chelle Bliss book, I’m in for an emotional and highly erotic read, and Throttle Me does not disappoint. Readers may remember Suzy from Sophia and Kayden’s story, Untangle Me. She’s Sophia’s straight laced best friend who used to live with them. Suzy’s the quintessential school teacher – a straight laced planner who has a checklist for everything – even her ideal man. She believes the guy for her is going to have all of the components on her list, and even though she’s not had a lot of luck finding a man based on her catalog of traits, she still believes that’s who will fit her best. But what Suzy doesn’t take into account is that hidden deep within her is a wild woman who has sexual fantasies so far away from vanilla that any man who fit her list would run away as soon as she told him what she truly desired. That’s why, regardless of how wrong Suzy thinks City is for her, she can’t help but want him because he might not be what she’s looking for, but he sure is what she needs.“Sometimes life doesn’t give us what we’re looking for, but it gives us what is supposed to be. We just have to be willing to take the plunge. Live a little. Take a risk for once.”Suzy’s definitely taking a risk getting involved with City, but then again, so is he. He may be a rough and dominant biker, but underneath all of those tattoos and bravado is a man who loves his family and fiercely protects what’s his. He may not want to put a label on what he has with Suzy because he’s afraid of what he could lose, but from the get go, he feels more for Suzy then he’s felt for anyone in a really long time. But how can these two have a relationship when City doesn’t match up with Suzy’s checklist, and City has sworn off anything resembling a relationship since college? I guess one sexy encounter at a time;)

Throttle Me is a great story. I loved seeing Suzy’s mind shut off and her inner vixen set free by City’s dirty talk and sexual prowess. Sophia and Kayden’s cameos in the story is an added bonus. Because Suzy experienced their relationship pretty much from the start, she knows that opposites most definitely attract, which I think provides her with some much needed insight. City’s family is also a great addition to the story. They’re actually what I picture a big Italian family to be, and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for the rest of the Gallo men and perhaps woman!

If you’re looking for a sexy read with a hot alpha male and a dormant sex kitten then this book is definitely for you!

“He pierced and punched his way through life while I patched up the damage caused by fists and dirty needles.”This statement epitomizes the differences between Michael “Ice Man” Gallo and Dr. Mia Greco in Chelle Bliss’ latest story, Hook Me, book 2 in the Men of Inked series. He’s hard to her soft; he’s in your face while she’s more subdued. But slowly, as Michael and Mia spend more time together, the personality traits that make them so different actually help them to find some common ground and build a relationship worth keeping no matter the obstacles that get in their way.Michael Gallo is one sexy fighter. His self esteem is what draws both men and women to him. He owns his attitude, and he doesn’t give a shit about anyone who has a problem with the man or the fighter that he is. What I love about Michael the most is behind all of that bravado and manliness is a man who is fiercely protective, loyal, and compassionate. He steps up for his family on numerous occasions, and even though Mia doesn’t ask for the help, he makes it a priority to give her the means to work full time at a job that doesn’t chip away at her heart.

Mia is the perfect woman for Michael. She challenges him at every turn. She doesn’t make anything easy for him, which is exactly what he needs. She’s a fantastic heroine because she fights her own battles, goes for what she wants, and for the most part, looks at the big picture before making any rash decisions. I love the fact that underneath Mia’s pristine doctor persona is a woman who can hold her own with the best of them in terms of cussing, having fun, and exploring her sexuality.

Michael and Mia’s story is a sweet and sexy read that definitely reiterates the idea that opposites do attract. The chemistry between Michael and Mia is off the charts, and Chelle Bliss does a great job of illustrating both their personal and sexual chemistry. Of course, no Chelle Bliss story would be complete without a bit of angst thrown into the mix, and Hook Me definitely has its fair share in the shape of one crazy ass woman. But besides the drama the antagonist brings to the storyline, this text is focused on how the hero and heroine find what they’ve been missing both in their professional and private lives. It also illustrates the importance of family, and I don’t think I’ve found a better book family than the Gallos. The bond that they have and what they’re willing to do for each other is demonstrated exceptionally well in this series, and I can’t wait to see how they work together to continue to solve dilemmas in the texts still to come. Bring on Izzy’s story! She’s who I’ve been waiting to read about because I know it’s going to be a crazy ride!

Throttled gives City and Suzy their happily right now in pure Gallo fashion with a bit of drama, a whole lot of dirty talk and hot sex, and one hell of a wedding. For Suzy, becoming Mrs. Joseph Gallo is a dream come true in more ways than one. Not only does she get to marry her alpha male, but she also gets to become part of a family who loves and protects her no matter what; something she’s never felt she had with her own family. The Gallo boys and Izzy may be stubborn, foul mouthed, and a bit off kilter, but Suzy wouldn’t want anyone else to stand behind her, and she definitely wouldn’t want anyone else to stand next her but Joey Gallo – the man she almost lost because she judged him unfairly. But Suzy and City have made it through misunderstandings, missteps, and an accident that almost took City away from Suzy for good, so now that they are almost to their wedding day, they’re not going to let anything stand in their way, even if it’s themselves.City and Suzy’s novella illustrates just how much both of their lives have changed for the better since starting their relationship. City is still City, but he now has someone who makes him live a little tamer and fills his life with more love than he ever thought possible. With City’s help, Suzy has become more confident and a bit more foul mouthed, which makes their witty banter that much dirtier. They complement each other in so many ways and their love is something that has made them whole, which Chelle Bliss effortlessly captures in Throttled.The Men of Inked series is full of alpha males who know how to use their words and their bodies for both loving and fighting and their women can definitely hold their own as well. It’s a great series that has both steam and sweet in each text. Izzy’s book is next, and I can’t wait for her story because I know whatever male tries to tame her is going to have one hell of a fight on his hands, and I’m going to love reading every minute of it!

I’ve been reading Chelle Bliss’ stories since she started writing them, and her storytelling and characters just keep getting better, and with her newest release, Resist Me, she has created the perfect mix of well developed characters, smoldering sex scenes, dialogue that is both snarky and sassy, and a fast paced storyline that is sure to capture any reader’s interest.Since Izzy was introduced to readers in Throttle Me, I’ve been waiting for her story, and boy does Chelle Bliss come through big time for Izzy and readers alike. Izzy is an absolutely fabulous heroine; she’s in a league of her own in terms of her feistiness and self confidence. She’s a fierce woman who doesn’t allow anyone to push her around, especially the men in her life. No one tops her because she refuses to bow down to anyone; it’s just not in her nature to give anyone that kind of power. But she might have met her match in one James Caldo.James is an alpha in every sense of the word, and he has Izzy pegged after their first encounter. She can’t bullshit him nor can she play the games she used to playing on her unsuspecting male victims. James knows her move before she even makes it, calling her out on everything and showing her that he is one man she will never top.

They’re both extremely stubborn; one refusing to give in and the other refusing to back down, but as the old saying goes, “resistance is futile,” so James is just biding his time, waiting to pounce on the woman who battles him on everything, which is exactly the type of woman he wants. Izzy and James definitely have a sizzling connection, but it’s going to take more than hot sex to tame Izzy; it’s going to take a man who’s willing to put up with a sassy mouth, a wild spirit, and one hell of an attitude, but if anyone can do it, it’s definitely James – his dominating nature will have her tied to the bed and begging before she even realizes she’s been out played.

Izzy and James are fucking fantastic together; there’s not a more perfect duo out there who push each other’s buttons while stripping one another bare. James is one deliciously hot, muscled package of a man who gives Izzy everything she never thought she wanted. He’s the perfect addition to the Gallo family because he’s just as dominant as Izzy’s brothers, and he’ll make sure she stays out of trouble or he’ll at least have her back when she gets herself into it.

I dare any reader to resist Izzy and James’ story! Bring on Thomas’ story!
