Synopsis

Review
Cory James is one tough chick who relies on herself in every aspect of her life. She leads a duplicitous life – doing what she needs to do to protect and support her sister. She’s a complex character who allows no one to truly see who she is at her core because there’s too much at risk in doing so. As a thief, Cory puts her life on the line every day, but her newest task may just lead to her downfall in more ways than one because she may have just met her match in every sense of the word.
Sullivan “Van” Collins is not afraid to take risks and work for things that he wants, and he wants Cory, especially after one hot night on a roof. He’s sinfully sexy and the complete package, and he allows Cory to be free when they’re together – something that she never feels she is.
Cory and Van are the perfect pair but Cory’s back is to the wall and at the end of volume 1, she’s put in a precarious position – one that could cost her everything.
What a fantastic start to an edgy serial! Its fast-paced, raw, and off the charts hot. I can’t wait to see where Hart takes Cory and Van next.

About the Author
Staci has been a lot of things up to this point in her life — a graphic designer, an entrepreneur, a seamstress, a clothing and handbag designer, a waitress. Can’t forget that. She’s also been a mom; she has three little girls who are sure to grow up to break a number of hearts. She’s been a wife; even though she’s certainly not the cleanest, or the best cook. She’s also super, duper fun at a party, especially if she’s been drinking whiskey. Her favorite word starts with f and ends with k.
From roots in Houston, to a seven year stint in Southern California, Staci and her family ended up settling somewhere in between and equally north, in Denver. They are new enough that snow is still magical. When she’s not writing, she’s sleeping, gaming, or designing graphics.
