New York Times bestselling author J. Kenner kicks off a smoking hot, emotionally compelling new trilogy that returns to the world of her beloved Stark novels: Release Me, Claim Me, and Complete Me. Say My Namefeatures Jackson Steele, a strong-willed man who goes after what he wants, and Sylvia Brooks, a disciplined woman who’s hard to get—and exactly who Jackson needs.
I never let anyone get too close—but he’s the only man who’s ever made me feel alive.
Meeting Jackson Steele was a shock to my senses. Confident and commanding, he could take charge of any room . . . or any woman. And Jackson wanted me. The mere sight of him took my breath away, and his touch made me break all my rules.
Our bond was immediate, our passion untamed. I wanted to surrender completely to his kiss, but I couldn’t risk his knowing the truth about my past. Yet Jackson carried secrets too, and in our desire we found our escape, pushing our boundaries as far as they could go.
Learning to trust is never easy. In my mind, I knew I should run. But in my heart, I never felt a fire this strong—and it could either save me or scorch me forever.
Say My Name is intended for mature audiences.

Review
If there’s one thing I’ve ascertained from all of my J Kenner readings, it’s that she definitely knows how to write the tormented and mysterious hero – one who exudes sex and makes no qualms about his sexual proclivities…a man whose mind is as fine tuned as his body. He’s secretive…he’s demanding, and his end game isn’t always clear, but when it comes down to claiming the right woman, he’ll stop at nothing to get what/who he wants regardless of the obstacles.
Jackson Steele, J. Kenner’s latest hero in her newest release, Say My Name, epitomizes those characteristics, and while he holds his cards tight to his vest, not divulging too many details until the time is right, everything I’ve learned about him and his feelings for Sylvia make him an epic book boyfriend.
Five years ago, he made a promise to stay away from heroine, Sylvia Brooks, but now that she’s re-entered his life, needing his help, all bets are off, and while his “devil’s bargain” started out as revenge, as Sylvia gives herself over to Jackson and allows him past her thickly built wall, he wants to be the man who fights her demons, even though he won’t allow her to do the same in return.
As Damien Stark’s assistant, Sylvia Brooks knows how to handle alpha male business types. She’s a professional, clear-headed business woman who thrives on and requires control in all facets of her life. Sylvia’s scarring past keeps her ice cold and void of emotion, but that’s all about to change when her past becomes her present and her one time lover needs to become her co-worker to save a project she has worked tirelessly on to bring to fruition. Sylvia’s a runner by nature, and five years ago, that’s exactly what she did to Jackson Steele, but regardless of how much she’d like to run in the opposite direction, she needs Jackson’s professional assistance, and it soon becomes clear, she needs him personally as well.
It’s clear from the start that there is unfinished business between Jackson and Sylvia, and their feelings for one another have never gone away despite the time and distance. Jackson and Sylvia’s connection sizzles as soon as they reconnect, and it’s a foregone conclusion that Jackson will have her again despite Sylvia’s adamant refusal. Jackson wants to free Sylvia from her past by showing her that giving him control does not mean she loses it. Sylvia’s afraid to feel too much, and she doesn’t want to get lost again like she did five years ago, but she also can’t deny how Jackson makes her feel and what surrendering to her passion for this man gives her in return.
At the end of Say My Name, Jackson and Sylvia’s relationship seems to be on track, but there are outside variables that threaten to unhinge them both, and with the secrets that it’s clear Jackson is keeping, it’s unclear whether Sylvia can remain unscathed. Sylvia has submitted to Jackson and has trusted him enough to give up control, but at what outcome when Jackson’s truths are revealed.
J. Kenner, once again, creates a highly erotic and addicting text where characters are multi-faceted and developed throughout the course of the text and the plot line draws readers in from the start and keeps them captivated as everything unfolds.
I can’t wait for Jackson and Sylvia’s story to continue in On My Knees!
