Jimmy Wilder – Immortal Angel’s notorious manwhore…a wild and reckless playboy who lives for music and easy women…a man who’s never had a real relationship with a woman because it definitely doesn’t fit into his rocker lifestyle.
Audra Abelman – Immortal Angel’s biggest fan and foremost supporter. She’s the woman who ensures the band’s success on the road. She’s a straight laced girl who should be off limits to a man like Jimmy, but when he learns that there’s a bad girl behind the good girl facade, he wants her to come out and play, and Audra’s willing as long as there’s a few ground rules between them.
In a lot of stories, I have a hard time buying into the idea that a playboy with quite the reputation could instantly make a 360-degree turn around and become a one woman man, but Jenna Galicki provides readers with Jimmy’s internal thoughts and the reasons behind his reformation, and she also makes Jimmy work for Audra, which makes it a lot easier to buy in to Jimmy’s new demeanor.
Galicki makes the transition a bit harder by throwing angst and disapproving characters in Jimmy and Audra’s path, forcing Jimmy to prove himself on a number of levels, ensuring that he’s the real deal in his commitment to Audra.
The crazy antics of the Immortal Angel’s other band members and their significant others as well as the bond between all of them is also highlighted in Rock Star Redemption, providing readers with even more insight of the series’ previous characters and what they’re up to since their own books were completed.
Jimmy and Audra’s story is a fast paced read told in dual POVs, providing readers with sweet, sexy, and drama filled moments that will have them shaking their heads as well as cheering for the couple to make it through everything that’s thrown at them.
