I am absolutely loving this series! Both Creighton and Holly are learning to adjust to their spur of the moment marriage, and they’re changing in ways that they never saw coming, especially Creighton. But because they come from two different worlds and the fact that Holly feels her dirty billionaire is way out of her league, she second guesses everything and runs away without thinking of the repercussions. It seems as though regardless of how much Creighton and Holly connect on a number of levels, they still don’t know very much about each other and that may be what tears them apart.
Meghan March does a fantastic job of illustrating Holly and Creighton’s complexities and their self-revelations through the dual POV. In Dirty Pleasures, readers see another side to the business mogul when he’s in Holly’s honky tonk world, and we see that perhaps he’s starting to realize that there might just be something more important than business, but when parts of his past are revealed, Holly does what she does best – she runs – but readers also know that Creighton likes to dole out punishment to his dirty girl and at this point, we know he’ll chase her and make her understand what type of man he truly is.
Holly has been underestimated her entire life, even by herself, and I am excited to see what happens in terms of her career and her relationship with Creighton as we head into the conclusion of their story, Dirty Together! Will she continue to run away or run towards the man who makes her feel alive and a bit more whole?
