TIME
Time to love
Time to grieve
Time to heal
Time to move on
Time seems to be ever present…limitless, but it’s also a fleeting idea because there’s either too much or not enough of it when it comes to the really important things in life.
Lainey and Cody belonged to each other, but in the blink of an eye, their time together is gone, and they’re left separated due to a devious plan of revenge and the burden of picking up the pieces and trying to go on.
3 years 2 months
3 years, 6 months, 4 days
Even the short span of a few months can completely alter lives, and that’s exactly the fallout that Cody and Lainey are faced with when their past collides with Lainey’s present/future, and Cody’s new purpose in life is revenge.
SPACE
At one point in their lives, the distance between Cody and Lainey, both physically and emotionally, was minuscule, but with Cody’s return from the dead and Lainey’s impending marriage to another man, they couldn’t be any further apart, and even when they find themselves in each other’s space, there’s always something threatening to tear them apart.
Cody and Lainey’s story is an emotional journey that will either bring two soul mates together again or put even more distance between them. At times while I was reading, I didn’t know what to think about either Cody or Lainey because there’s a depth to them that was rarely fully shown because neither was willing to go too deep for fear of what that would mean for them both individually and as a couple. But with the mess that they’re wading through in this story with Cody’s need for revenge on his captors and Lainey’s relationship and future with Dax, I didn’t see things ending well for either of them.
They say time heals all wounds, but that doesn’t seem to be true for Cody and Lainey. Their wounds have festered and reopened due to Cody’s reappearance and time is of the essence because this new time and new space won’t do either of them any favors if they don’t honestly face what they want regardless of what else is at stake.
Rachel Robinson is a fantastic storyteller. Time and Space has a great blend of steam, suspense, mystery, and mayhem. Readers are never quite sure whether the things said or done are for the right or wrong reasons, which makes the main players’ intentions questionable to say the least.
Cody and Lainey’s love was supposed to overrule everything but sometimes time and space puts too much distance between two people who once were everything to each other…but then again, sometimes it’s exactly what’s needed to prove to themselves that love never runs out despite everything that goes against it.

Excerpt
She’s been his for the stolen years. I called Dax. We spoke of Lainey and how he wants her to know she has options. He wants to win her fair and square. I didn’t have the heart to tell him fair and square loses every single time. The option that Lainey is exercising at the moment has my mouth watering and my dick rapt at attention. A stronger man–a man with more integrity would resist. I was stripped of everything, integrity included. I just want back what is rightfully mine.
“I want to kiss your entire body. You want that?” I ask, rubbing the insides of her thighs with the palms of my hands. Her body excites me. It’s familiar and brand new at the same time. Everything washes away when I touch her. I can block my pain receptors with her pleasure. I can forget. “Every single square inch of you.” I say folding my hands around her tiny, tan waist.
She nods. Her doe eyes challenging me to merely kiss her. Smirking, I lean over her drag my lips across her tits, down her stomach and back up her neck to find her mouth. Lainey whimpers as I rest some of my body weight on top of her. My mouth is watering by the time I bring my lips on top of hers. Her scent is all around me, her warm skin is against my chest, my cock is nestled right where it wants to be. How to tell her how much I’ve missed her? Or that her fucking gorgeous face is still the center of my universe?
