Ladies Man is an angsty and slow burn read that proves that there’s more to a person than what others see because the depth of someone is beyond the portrayed facade…beyond the mask that holds the secrets and hides the pain…beyond the endless women that never get more than a warm body for a night…beyond the guarded heart that’s unwilling to be hurt again because it’s already battered and scarred.
Both Gina and Tahoe have a past that prevents them from moving forward; they just deal with that burden in a much different way, causing more of a fissure of their friendship than a connection.
Tahoe “T-Rex” Roth is the “dark prince of the playboys.” His public persona oozes sex, and he is never one to turn down a good time or a willing body. He’s a womanizer, a manwhore, a ladies’ man, but that’s how Tahoe has to play it because anything deeper than one night stands or sex without emotions is too much for him to handle.
Tahoe’s hit and quit it attitude prevents anyone from getting to know him on any level other than physical. But Gina sees beyond Tahoe’s facade…beyond the playboy mask.
