When one Rulebook closes…
Thatch and Cassie have finally found their perfect balance of good and sweet, crazy and playful, and most importantly, hot and insatiable.
But what happens when they’re faced with a surprise neither of them plotted or schemed?
While Cassie seems to be taking everything in stride, Thatch can’t stop himself from worrying about every little thing revolving around the woman he loves.
How does a man handle that kind of anxiety?
Doing the only thing he can to ease his mind without pushing away the woman he loves, Thatch proves that once again, when it comes to him and Cass, you’ll never see what’s coming.
Another Playbook begins…
Wes Lancaster has always followed one guideline for play. He never gets involved with anyone working for his professional football team, the New York Mavericks.
It hasn’t been a hard rule to live by.
Until Winnie Winslow, the new take-no-sh*t team physician.
She’s beautiful, intelligent—and has no problem taking control of every situation.
She pisses him off. She turns him on.
As tension builds and desire heightens, Wes finds himself wondering how much longer he’ll be able to follow his gameplan.

Review
Max Monroe’s bad boy billionaire world is quite dynamic and contrasting. As one alpha male gets his act together and gives it his all for HIS girl, another finds himself not only lusting after but altering his entire life to make a play for the woman he never saw coming but now can’t get off his radar, despite his commitment issues.
Thatch and Cassie have gone all in, which has added so much to their respective lives, but it’s also created a multitude of worries, especially for Thatch. The flirtatious sparring between these two is humorous and sexy at the same time and the way that Max Monroe portrays Thatch’s one-way ticket to Worryville is so spot on given his personality that I could vividly picture Thatch’s “stalker” tendencies and felt nothing but warm fuzzies as he worked to get his paranoia under control and trust in the woman who owns his heart.
Wes Lancaster is still quite the mysterious player; his past remains unclear, which keeps readers guessing as to why he’s the unsmiling badass that he is and also poses quite the quandary for Winnie Winslow because despite his “surly” behavior and his antagonizing words, she wants to do naughty things to and with him as long as he keeps his mouth shutJ
Kline & Georgia, Thatch & Cassie, and Wes & Winnie bring their own levels of crazy into each and every situation, and it’s the kind of crazy that readers can’t help but find both comical and endearing. The fact that each book includes this circle of friends and explores their relationships and the shit they give to each other in jest and when they mess up illustrates the connection between them and their ability to have each other’s backs while still making sure they understand when they mess up and need a swift kick in the ass!
