From her one visit to Melbourne and the Hawks MC compound, Melissa Evans knows Dallas is who she wants. There’re just a few problems with that: he’s a douche, a pain in the arse, and a stubborn, sexist pig. Still, it’s a whole heap of fun to tease her Viking man.
Relationship. Dallas Gan hates the word. As far as he’s concerned, women are nothing but a good time between the sheets. It’s only when the sassy Melissa shows up that he realises some women give as good as they get. Now she’s under his skin and he can’t seem to get her out.
Even with the warning from Dallas that once he claims her, he will come for her wherever she is, Melissa leaves. It’s now just a matter of time before he makes good on his promise.
Wading through lies and danger, Dallas has a decision to make. Is it easier to walkout on love and never look back, or will he give that dreaded word “relationship” a chance?
When a man like Dallas Gan goes to claim a woman, chasing her because she’s worth the headache, the back talk, and the attitude, it’s probably in her best interest to just give into him and to succumb to his rough/mean demeanor and his arrogant assertiveness because as much as Dallas is NOT a one-woman man, for his Tiny woman, he’d gladly allow her to sneak her way inside of him, never letting her go, dealing with everything and everyone that comes with her and looking out for her despite the mixed messages that she seems to be sending and living.
Melissa Evans isn’t used to any man coming through for her, let alone someone like her Viking man, and while he’s definitely what she wants, she has a shitstorm to deal with first, but thankfully, due to Dallas’ caveman personality, he and his biker brothers can offer their assistance, so that when the situation is cleaned up, Dallas and Melissa can find a way to give each other what they want and need despite both of their track records with the opposite sex.
Dallas Gan is one brooding alpha male, and while he has no idea how Melissa pushed her way into his heart, he’s enjoying the ride, even though he has no idea what he’s doing or what a relationship (which is a difficult word for him to simply say) looks like. Melissa is everything he never knew he wanted and now that he’s found her, he sure as shit won’t stop until he’s claimed her body, her mind, and her heart.
Walkout is an action packed, steamy read that takes its characters as well as its readers on one hell of a ride; it’s made clear from the very beginning of Dallas and Melissa’s story that they are “It” for one another but getting to the point they can be together is what the plot line is all about, and while it’s usually the heroine resisting the alpha biker, refusing to give in and be his, this time around, there are extenuating circumstances that keep Dallas and Melissa apart and it’s up to them to play it smart and safe, which is easier said than done for a man like Dallas and his need for the tiny woman who owns him just as much as he owns her.
