RELEASE BLITZ: We Are One

We Are One

INTRODUCTION
What can I do?
Haven’t we all asked that question?
What can I do to help these people in need as fire destroys our beautiful country?
With big celebs donating money we could never match, which we are SO incredibly grateful for, we wonder how our little donations can make a difference? But they can. Every SINGLE cent makes a difference. Every person makes a difference. Everyone coming together MAKES a difference.
So, I decided to make a difference. I wanted to give back. I wanted to help.
What I never expected was the incredible support my fellow Australian authors would give me. These utterly BEAUTIFUL women all came forward and happily threw themselves into my cause. They wanted to help. They had lived the pain. Cried the tears. Seen the destruction. They, my friends, are angels.
So, there you have it. This is how we’re helping our country.
Today, Australia Day, we are so proud to be releasing not one but TWO incredible anthologies into the public. Volume One is available on ALL platforms (Nook, Apple Books, Amazon, Kobo etc) and Volume Two is exclusive to Amazon and FREE in Kindle Unlimited. We wanted to open it up to EVERYONE.
Two incredible editions, full of amazing books, for the price of $3.99. That money you spend will go directly into helping two incredible charities that need our money the most right now. Your purchase will go towards saving things that are so utterly broken right now. We need to heal our country. We need to heal what’s broken.
VOLUME ONE will go in full to HIVE AID. Bees are everything, you guys, and they’re being destroyed. Without them, there is no us, they need our help – https://www.ruralaid.org.au/donate
VOLUME TWO will go in full to WIRES – Australian Wildlife Rescue Organization – https://www.wires.org.au
Our native flora and fauna need us, and we’ve decided to give to them.
The most important part, is me giving a shout out to the incredible people who have graciously helped us without question. Who have given their time to us without hesitation.
For this ABSOLUTELY amazing cover, I give full thanks to Ben Ellis from Tall Story Designs. He has worked with us to give us the most beautiful cover I could ever imagine. BLOG TOUR REVIEW AND EXCERPT: Dream With Me by Kristen Proby

DWM - BT banner.jpg

Dream With Me by Kristen Proby

Release Date: January 21, 2020

Dream With Me FOR WEB.jpg

Dream With Me, an all-new standalone contemporary romance in the beloved With Me In Seattle Series by New York Times Bestselling Author Kristen Proby.

Kane O’Callaghan knows what it is to have his work shown all over the world. His pieces are on display in palaces and museums, including the O’Callaghan Museum of Glass just outside of his beloved hometown of Seattle. Kane is a bit of a recluse, spending time on his farm alone and committed to his art. His life is full.

Until the day he meets her.

Wandering through museums is Anastasia Montgomery’s favorite way to spend her time. Not only does art feed her soul, but it inspires her own art of designing wedding cakes. When her muse seems to be gone, she finds her again among the beauty in the museums of Seattle, and the O’Callaghan Museum of Glass is her favorite. She’s never met the artist, but he must be absolutely brilliant, if he can make such beautiful things out of glass.

Bumping into a grumpy stranger at the museum wasn’t in Anastasia’s plan. And then discovering it was Kane himself was absolutely humiliating.

But when she sees him again at a charity fundraiser, and ends up spending an incredible, unforgettable night with the mysterious glass smith, Anastasia finds herself thinking of Kane and little else, even her precious work. Will this relationship bloom into the romance of a lifetime, or will their dreams of success get in the way of true love?

My Review

Dream with Me, the title of Kane O’Callaghan and Anastasia Montgomery’s story, focuses on accomplishing goals and living out their dreams, however that might be. What I found most interesting in relation to the title is the multiple connotative meanings that come into play with the word dream. And what’s also intriguing about that is the fact that they both were so focused on their careers that they never really dreamt of anything else…until they saw each other. And as their dreams begin and continue to change, Proby makes sure that these two characters understand and are open to the fact that their lives should be about more than their work, even though it’s a creative outlet for both of them.

Kristen Proby plays out the idea of kindred spirits and builds upon the unexplainable connection that Kane O’Callaghan and Anastasia Montgomery feel toward one another early on in their ‘relationship.’ I loved that even though there was chemistry between them from the start, Kane had to work a bit in order to show Anastasia who he is beneath his reclusive and business focused persona. After he redeemed himself, though, what they feel for each other grows exponentially, clearly illustrating the idea that dreams can change and lives can be made even more complete with the right outlook and push to live and love just as devotedly and just as deeply as their feelings are about their careers.

A significant aspect of each story in the With Me in Seattle series is the importance of and support of family, and that idea rings true in Dream With Me. I loved getting know Kane’s family, and the way that Proby set everything help it seems like there’s a possibility that some of his family members will have their stories told, at least I hope it’s true at some point.

Kristen Proby’s Seattle crew are some of my absolute favorite characters, and from my perspective, this series can continue as long as Proby wants it to because I’ll never get enough of these swoon worthy stories that focus on how two people are bonded together by an all-consuming love – one that doesn’t come without its obstacles, but one that is worth fighting for and understanding that all couples must endure struggles, but what makes Proby’s couples weather the storms, holding on tightly to a love they’ve never known or had before, is the fact that once they fall, they’ll do anything  to cherish and protect the person who owns them heart and soul.

Okay, so the man has moves. It shouldn’t surprise me that someone who creates such amazing works of art can also lead a girl around the dance floor. With one palm firmly planted on my lower back, and the other clutching my hand, Kane keeps his eyes on mine.

“You’re a good dancer,” I murmur.

“You’re nervous,” he replies softly. “There’s no need to be. It’s just a dance.”

I take a deep breath and offer him a smile. He’s right. It’s just a dance.

The fact that he’s maybe the hottest man I’ve ever seen is a huge bonus.

And if he can move like this, with all of our clothes on, I can only imagine what it could be like if we were naked.

Mercy.

“I never got your name,” he says and guides me closer to him so we can talk into each other’s ears. I glance around the room, seeing my sister and the other girls smiling at us, watching us dance.

“Anastasia,” I say and turn my head, not quite planting my nose against his neck. The smell of this man is going to kill me.

And not because it triggers my asthma.

Because it’s too sexy.

I watch the pulse in his neck and enjoy the feeling of his strong arms holding me.

“That’s a lovely name.” The accent is thicker in his voice now. Irish? I’m not good with accents, but I’d bet he’s Irish.

His last name might be an indicator.

“Thank you.”

The song ends and flows into another ballad. Adele sings about finding another lover, as Kane moves against me, with me.

I wonder if it looks as sexy as it feels.

“You said yesterday,” he whispers against my ear, “that you’d be using your sketch for something else. What will that something be?”

“A cake.”

He pulls back far enough to smile down at me in surprise. “A cake, is it?”

I nod, more comfortable talking about what I do for a living than just dancing in silence.

“I design and build wedding cakes for a living. I can do them for other occasions, as well, but wedding cakes are what I’m known for.”

“Interesting.”

“I have a client who came into my shop about a month ago to hire me. They didn’t give me any direction at all. No colors, no requests. It just has to feed about two hundred guests.” I shake my head in disgust. “Not that I want them to tell me to copy a photo. I won’t do that, but usually, they have colors they like or flowers in mind. Something. Not these two. When I need inspiration, I like to look at what others have created. Or have conversations with people I enjoy.”

“That makes sense,” he says and leans in to kiss my forehead, which sends a shiver right down my spine to my lady parts—which had already sat up and taken notice of Kane.

“What was that for?” I ask.

“An apology,” he replies. “For being difficult yesterday.”

“Apology accepted.”

His lips quirk into that half-smile, his green eyes shining. The song is almost over, and I know I should thank him for the dance and find Lia and the others.

“Thanks for the dance.”

The last note plays, and I pull back, immediately wishing I was back in his arms.

He’s a stranger, and it’s crazy, but it’s true.

“Do you belong to a man, Anastasia?” Kane brushes his knuckles down the side of my cheek.

I frown. “I’ll never belong to anyone.”

“You know what I mean. Are you taken?”

“I’m single if that’s what you’re asking.”

“Good.” He kisses the back of my hand.

About Kristen

Kristen was born and raised in a small resort town in her beloved Montana. In her mid-twenties, she decided to stretch her wings and move to the Pacific Northwest, where she made her home for more than a dozen years.

During that time, Kristen wrote many romance novels and joined organizations such as RWA and other small writing groups. She spent countless hours in workshops, and more mornings than she can count up before dawn so she could write before going to work. She submitted many manuscripts to agents and editors alike, but was always told no. In the summer of 2012, the self-publishing scene was new and thriving, and Kristen had one goal: to publish just one book. It was something she longed to cross off of her bucket list.

Not only did she publish one book, she’s since published close to thirty titles, many of which have hit the USA Today, New York Times and Wall Street Journal Bestsellers lists. She continues to self publish, best known for her With Me In Seattle and Boudreaux series, and is also proud to work with William Morrow, a division of HarperCollins, with the Fusion Series.

Kristen and her husband, John, make their home in her hometown of Whitefish, Montana with their two pugs and two cats.

REVIEW TOUR: INAPPROPRIATE by Vi Keeland

INAPPROPRIATE IS LIVE!

A Standalone Contemporary Romance

#1 New York Times Bestselling Author Vi Keeland

Blurb

Terminated for inappropriate behavior.

I couldn’t believe the letter in my hands.

Nine years. Nine damn years I’d worked my butt off for one of the largest companies in America, and I was fired with a form letter when I returned home from a week in Aruba.

All because of a video taken when I was on vacation with my friends—a private video made on my private time. Or so I thought…

Pissed off, I cracked open a bottle of wine and wrote my own letter to the gazillionaire CEO telling him what I thought of his company and its practices.

I didn’t think he’d actually respond.

I certainly never thought I’d suddenly become pen pals with the rich jerk.

Eventually, he realized I’d been wronged and made sure I got my job back.

Only…it wasn’t the only thing Grant Lexington wanted to do for me.

But there was no way I was getting involved with my boss’s boss’s boss. Even if he was ridiculously gorgeous, confident, and charming.

It would be completely wrong, inappropriate even.

Sort of like the video that got me into trouble to begin with.

Two wrongs don’t make a right.

But sometimes it’s twice as fun.

My Review

Inappropriate…unfitting…unbecoming…unprofessional…unbefitting

Regardless of which one of the above words you choose, its defining characteristic is that an act or situation that is not regraded as proper or appropriate given the set of circumstances that surround it.

But here’s the thing…who deems something appropriate or inappropriate? Who holds the power to judge others’ imperfections or ill-advised acts?

For Vi Keeland’s newest heroine, Ireland Saint James, one private act made public is deemed inappropriate by her employer, ruining her career and finding her out of a job that she’s given every part of herself to.

This is when things get interesting, not only for the wronged and disgruntled ex-employee, but also for Grant Lexington, the president and CEO of Lexington Industries, Ireland’s place of employment. And what starts out between these two, because of one drunken email, seems to epitomize every attribute of inappropriate behavior, but in all the most deliciously decadent ways.

From the very first message, Grant Lexington is intrigued by the feisty sender, and the more he learns about her, the more he wants to know, and even though it puts them both in rather precarious positions due to his role in Lexington Industries and a past that has dictated any kind of ‘real’ relationship he has had with a woman, sometimes the most unprofessional actions are the ones that make lives fuller and provide unusual but necessary ways to heal.

From the very first chapter, I adored Ireland and Grant’s story. Their chemistry resonated from its pages and the fact that she wasn’t just another beck and call girl and actually challenged Grant made him want things he hasn’t wanted in quite some time.

It’s clear just how in sync Ireland and Grant are despite the obstacles that they have to face, and while they both struggle with certain aspects of their relationship, they grow and heal because of each other’s presence in their lives, proving just how appropriate doing something unbecoming is exactly what needs to happen to be redeemed and renewed.

Inappropriate in a well-rounded and well written contemporary romance. It’s definitely one of my favorite reads by Vi Keeland because of its uniqueness and just how many emotions Keeland weaves through her characters’ words and actions. A definite must-read.

How did I get here? My assistant, bent on one knee, holding my hand, her expectant face waiting for an answer.

Just . . . how?

How did I go from being insulted by Charlee Cox to hiring her to be my assistant? How is it that she’s chaos in color – making me crazy and my life better at the same time?

I never thought I would be staring down at her bright blue eyes begging me to go along with this ridiculous scheme I suggested.

Yes, I suggested. Like the idiot I am, I thought hey, why not start an HR nightmare and have my assistant ask me to marry her?

My Review

Any heroine who has the nickname ‘Charlee Bag of Dicks’ is definitely someone I want to read about, and Meghan Quinn did an amazing job in her character development of Charlee. Charlee’s personality will resonate with a large number of readers because her imperfections, her quirks, her insecurities are absolutely relatable. She’s an ‘everyday’ woman – one with struggles and hopes and dreams. She’s all of us combined into the most perfectly imperfect heroine and getting in her head and figuring out things as she does is a great place to be because her personality, her energy, her over-the-top, at times, demeanor is quite the adventure.

Rath is a complicated man – one who needs to control every aspect of his life, so what that means when the whirlwind that is Charlee invades his space is that not only his life is going to be upended in every way possible, but she’s also going to unlock that organ beating in his chest, forcing him to feel again…to take a chance again…and this time, he won’t regret it because Charlee is exactly who she seems to be and while she can be a tad bit over-the-top, her heart, her wit, her personality are exactly what Rath never knew he needed or wanted.

What I love most about Meghan Quinn’s writing, especially her humor, is that it absolutely fits the scenes she crafts and the characters she develops. It never feels forced, not in the witty banter exchanges between the hero and the heroine or in the bromances that the hero and his ‘brothers’ have. Even the awkward situations are taken lightheartedly due to perfectly timed one liners and hijinks.

This marriage of convenience/office romance is one heck of an entertaining read. Both Charlee and Rath’s perspectives allow readers to understand the reasons behind their actions and reactions. These two definitely brought out the worst, at times, and the best of each other, but the biggest thing they did for each other was accept them for exactly who they are, calling them on their bs and helping them to heal in ways they never thought possible, and it’s that kind of relationship…that kind of love that makes romance readers absolutely giddy and more than a little swoon worthy over the characters’ happily ever after.

Excerpt

**RATH**
“Rath Westin, my boss, my commander in chief, my Gucci Governor—”
“I don’t wear Gucci.”
“Go with it.” She winks and clears her throat. “Mr. Big Shot, Barking Britches, and Irritable Ira—”
“Jesus . . . Christ.” I rub my hand down my face.
“Will you do me the great honor . . .” She wobbles on her bent knee and clutches my hand to steady herself. “Will you . . .” She tears up, her voice becoming shaky. “I’m sorry, I’ve never done this before.”
“I sure as hell hope not,” I say through gritted teeth.
“And I didn’t think I’d get emotional either.” On a deep breath, she finishes, “Will you do me the greatest honor of all time and be my bridegroom?”
Christ, nothing is ever simple with her.
“Why did you say it like that?”
“Did I not do it right?” she mumbles to herself. “See, I knew I was doing something wrong.”
“No, why did you say bridegroom?”
“Oh, well, that’s what you would be. You see, that’s what they used to call men who were soon to be married . . . a bridegroom. But then somewhere along the way they shortened it to groom. But if you marry me, I would give you the dignified pleasure of retaining the honorable title of bridegroom.”
“Don’t call me bridegroom.”
“Boss man bridegroom?” she asks with a cheeky grin.
How the fuck did I allow myself to get in this position? With my quirky and sometimes annoying but mostly efficient assistant, kneeling in front of me . . . proposing.
Proposing to me.
In a pair of belly-covering slacks and suspenders, hair pulled back into a tight bun like she often wears it, looking up at me through her red-framed glasses, her bright blue eyes shining past the lenses, begging me to go along with this ridiculous scheme I suggested.
Yes, me.
Like the goddamn idiot I am, I thought hey, why not start an HR nightmare and have my assistant ask me to marry her?
Confused?
Don’t worry, so am I.
Where do I even start? Maybe from the beginning?
Here is a quick rundown: my ex, who used to work with me, left me for bigger and better things. We don’t talk about her, ever, because she took my heart with her. Instead, I buried myself in my work. I became a hermit in my office, firing one assistant after another because they weren’t good enough or their voice annoyed me, or they thought salt was sugar and gave me one bad cup of coffee that ended their career at Westin Enterprises—that mistake was on them.
In my spare time—not that there’s much—but when I do have spare time, I follow my two idiot friends around the city, helping them avoid fucking up their lives. But now that they’re both in loving and committed relationships, one planning a wedding with my sister as the bride, I have much more time on my hands.
Maybe they’re to blame for my demise, for this ridiculous charade I’m now a part of.
What does this have to do with my assistant proposing to me?
Well, you see, I was in the market for yet another new assistant, and that’s when one of my best friends, Bram, suggested I lean on his assistant, Linus, to help me find someone. Side note: Linus is a gift from God, and I’ve offered him huge pay raises many times to jump ship and join my company, but his loyalty lies with Bram . . . unfortunately.
So Linus helped me find an assistant, and that’s where it started to go downhill.
The minute I saw her, I knew it wasn’t going to be a good fit.
Why?
Because she’s too goddamn beautiful.
Because she’s far too bubbly.
Because with every smile and checklist she devises, she makes me want to bend her over my desk and make her mine.
But, since I clearly don’t know how to make any decisions worth a shit, I hired her, right there on the spot.
And that was the beginning of the end.
Need to know more? Well in case you are on pins and needles about my answer to her proposal, I said yes.
Here’s the story of how I became Boss Man Bridegroom.

COVER REVEAL: CATCHING THE COWBOY by Kennedy Fox

CATCHING THE COWBOY

Circle B Ranch #2

By Kennedy Fox

Release Day: April 21

Blurb

Settling down and starting a family is something Diesel has considered, regardless of his one-night stand reputation. However, he just might be single forever since who he wants is off-limits—his best friend’s little sister.

He’s been in love with her for years, but betraying his friendship could ruin everything.

Rowan Bishop is over men, especially after finding out her boyfriend cheated and left her heartbroken. After graduating from college, she’s back home and has to face the one guy who purposely gets under her skin—her older brother’s best friend.

She hates that she’s attracted to him, but she’s willing to fight for who she wants.

Spending time together is a bad idea, but neither can deny the chemistry sizzling between them. Late night talks turn into spontaneous adventures and just when Rowan’s willing to admit how she truly feels, Diesel’s past catches up with him and ruins their picture perfect romance.

One secret turns into another and before either can grasp their new reality, more truths unravel—threatening to expose their forbidden relationship.

*Note: This is a full-length stand-alone novel in the Circle B Ranch series and a spin-off from the Bishop Brothers series. You don’t need to read any of the other books beforehand to enjoy this one!*
