Synopsis
Olivia
Ten years. Countless miles.

Live – it seems like such a simple word, but, for some, to actually put it into practice is easier said than done.
Liv’s Existence follows the lives of five people….three share a past that changed all of their lives, for the most part, in dramatic and traumatic ways. The other two were not part of that past, but as the present and past collide, they have major roles in making sure that the heroine, Olivia, moves past the events that turned her into a frightened, barely existing woman.
For the past ten years of her life, Olivia has merely existed. She has never put down roots…if someone gets too close, she leaves without a second thought. She can’t stand physical contact of any kind, and due to her panic attacks and need to stay guarded, she has never really had close friends. When the man who changed her life all of those years ago, reenters her life, she fights the compulsion every day to put an end to the torment…put an end to her existence, but two people refuse to let that happen – her boss, Kyle, whose feelings for Olivia go way beyond boss/employee, and interestingly enough, the fiancée of the man who ruined her life.
Olivia and Abby’s unlikely friendship helps both women to acknowledge what they need and deserve. Both suffered due to Adam’s treatment albeit in different ways, but the bond they form allows them to be open and honest about topics that they have always struggled to say out loud. The story is told through both of their points of view, so we get up close and personal with their inner beliefs about themselves and the things that they have gone through. B.L. Mooney’s decision to allow both women’s voices to be heard makes the book so much better. At first, it seems they are on different sides because one is Adam’s victim while the other is his fiancée, but through their own words, readers see how much they have in common…how much they desperately need each other to heal.
Liv’s Existence is not a light read. It is full of tough topics that pull at readers’ hearts and make them ache as they read and watch Olivia relive all of the traumatizing events of 10 years ago, and just as both Olivia and Abby feel like they can persevere as long as they have each other, something happens that leaves readers questioning if anyone will be able to do more than simply exist.
This is a must read book! I should forewarn you that the ending will have you screaming and possibly throwing your kindle, but it’s worth it because the story is beautifully written and readers can’t help but root for both Olivia and Abby. I can’t wait to see how it all turns out!

About the Author
B.L. Mooney started writing when the voices and storylines in her head ran out of room. They were getting too cramped and neither B.L. nor the characters could take it anymore, so she did the only thing she could do–she made room. She always knew she wanted to write, but vowed to make time for it later. Now that she’s made time for writing, most everything else falls to the wayside. That seems to suit the characters that keep popping up just fine.
B.L. lives in the Midwest and her other talents include in-demand cookies, a very dry sense of humor, and stealth eavesdropping. Some mannerisms, attitudes, or twists come from random sentences picked up while passing by strangers. So speak up the next time you have something to gossip about. You never know, it may just end up on the pages of the next book you read.
