‘Before my parent’s tragic death, I had never been vengeful person. I was nice, quiet, friendly and definitely a glass-half-full kind of girl. But death has a way of changing everything.’
Ella Moore is the epitome of a badass.

Who do you become when your life is turned upside down by someone else’s selfish act? What do you do when the rage consumes you, and your thirst for revenge drives you to become someone else?
If you’re Alecia Reynolds, the heroine of Kasey Millstead’s newest release, Vengeance is Mine, after a few years of planning and training, you become Ella Moore, transforming yourself from daddy’s girl to biker whore in order to infiltrate, the Spades Motorcycle Club, the bikers responsible for destroying your life.
Revenge is Ella’s only mission, and regardless of the heinous and filthy acts she has to do to accomplish her goal, she’ll stop at nothing less than complete annihilation. Her plan is meticulous; every set objective has been carefully thought out, and even though she has a few helpers along the way, in the end, she’ll be the only one risking her life for payback – she’ll do what she needs to do to lure her prey in and deliver the final blow when her victims least expect it.
Absolution is what Ella seeks, and in order to achieve that, Kasey Millstead transforms Alecia/Ella from an innocent young woman to a blood thirsty predator. Her transformation works well because it is a gradual process; yes, she becomes a vigilante, but it’s not instantaneous. She understands that in order to avenge her parents’ murders and allow herself a chance at moving forward with her life, there has to be zero backlash. If her emotions take over, it could mean not only death for herself but for those who are helping her as well.
Vengeance is Mine is a unique biker book. It took me a bit to get into the story and wrap my mind around it all, but then as Ella’s plan went into action, I really enjoyed it. It’s an intense read because there are so many things that could wrong, and so as Ella is working to put everything in motion, I’m concentrating on every word written to see if she’s going to be found out or if she’s going to be able to exact the revenge she seeks. That’s what makes this story a thought provoking read because as readers see it all play out, there’s no way to know how it is all going to turn out. In a way, readers serve as an accomplice to Ella’s plan because we are seeing everything through her eyes and actually cheering her on, hoping her retribution is granted. Readers definitely need to check out this biker story with a twist.
