Review
Damien and Nikki Stark are one of my absolute favorite book couples, and I love that J Kenner is keeping readers up-to-date on this special pair. The title for their Valentine’s story is symbolic for many of the events of the text, and it points to the lengths Damien is willing to go to, to protect and cherish the woman who owns him.

Since the first book of the Stark Trilogy, Damien and Nikki have played the game of seduction, pushing each other’s limits in the most delicious ways. But even when their connection seemed to be only physical, their encounters, while playful, always had an intense undertone – one that would see them through a variety of hellish situations and allow their love to blossom into something neither of them could live without.
This time around, in Play My Game, Damien takes Nikki on a Valentine’s adventure with the end game being everything that Nikki could ever dream of, and it also allows readers to go down memory lane with our favorite couple as they reminisce about their special places and how amazing their life is together. The quest that Damien takes Nikki on is one that any one of us would gladly take in order to experience the pleasure/pain that Damien offers.
The other “game” that Damien and Nikki experience in this novella is one that neither want to play, but it also speaks to what people are willing to do for vengeance. But what these people should have realized a long time ago is that when it comes to Nikki, Damien’s not willing to play by anyone’s rules but his own and that is made perfectly clear in this latest tale.
Play My Game is a wonderfully sensual and heartfelt look into how the Starks are enjoying their lives as a married couple, and it also proves that as long as they have each other, Damien and Nikki can get through whatever life or assholes throw at them.
