Blurb
It’s been two weeks since Dylan St. John entered my life in a firestorm of lust and passion. And now I know his secret- he’s a beloved, badass rock star.
His band is playing in Boston tonight, and I have tickets to his show. Has he been reliving our every moment the way I have? Or was I just another distraction?
And he’s not the only one with a secret.
Review
It wasn’t supposed to be more than a onetime deal between Rachel and Dylan, but two weeks later, and Rachel still wants him for his body…his mind…his passion…for how he makes her feel freer than she’s ever felt. Dylan kept his identity secret and now that Rachel knows the truth, and he’s playing in her town, she has to decide if she can stay away from the man who knows exactly what she needs or see if there’s any chance he might want more like she does. But there’s a catch – Rachel might know Dylan’s secret, but Dylan has no idea about Rachel’s and no matter the lust they feel towards one another, it’s not something that can easily be forgotten.
Boy does the plot thicken in book 2 of Badass In My Bed. Rachel’s finally where her father’s always wanted her to be, and she belongs there due to her talent, but it seems like it’s not where she wants to be. It’s more of a duty to her father or maybe more…because the way the Maestro seems to focus on Rachel indicates a bit more of a relationship than what it appears at face value.
Dylan is still the hot as sin alpha male that he was in book 1, but it’s almost like he’s amped up even more because the one woman he can’t stop thinking about is now back in his space and he knows exactly what to do with her.
Rachel and Dylan’s story is far from over with the cliffhanger ending of book two, but one thing’s for sure – Rachel is the person she wants to be with Dylan; she’s freer…she’s more content and has fewer inhibitions, so it will be interesting to see how Rachel moves forward.
Rae Lynn Blaise knows how to illustrate passion and a sizzling connection through her descriptive sex scenes, and she also draws readers into the storyline by providing little hints along the way that things are not what they seem, enticing readers to continue reading for the answers they so desperately want.
