James Caldo needs to control everything in his life, even his wife, Izzy Gallo. But she’s headstrong and has a need to test her husband’s limits as much as he pushes hers.

When a case at ALFA Private Investigation takes a dark turn, James is forced to get Izzy involved in an undercover sting, and the assignment will test her sexual boundaries as well as the very foundation of their relationship.

Can Izzy hold her tongue long enough to keep them both safe? Or will her unwillingness to fully submit draw the eye of the very man they’re after?

“I loved my life. I loved my husband. I loved my kids.” ~Izzy

The Gallo family sure has left an impression on Chelle Bliss’ readers, and while I love them all, Izzy and James have always been my favorite, so when Chelle announced that she was taking us back to Florida and back to that crazy, loud, obscene, and loving family, I couldn’t wait to reacquaint myself with all the Gallo’s siblings, their significant others, and their kids as well as those who have become a part of their family even if they’re not blood related.

Izzy is one hell of a strong woman, and she doesn’t apologize for it; in fact, she revels in the fact that she can give as good as she can get, verbal sparring with the best of them and taking care of herself even when her brothers feel the need to protect her. For ten years now, she and James have been pushing each other’s buttons and putting up with one another’s bullshit and attitude, and neither of them would want it any other way.

James is still his alpha male self; he definitely knows how to manipulate to get what he wants with precision and he revs Izzy up in all kinds of ways, but then denies her the very things she wants and needs simply because he can, but readers also see another side of James in Worship Me. We see a man in love with his wife and kids – one who understands just how good he has things and one willing to do anything to protect what’s his at all costs.

Even though Izzy and James’ relationship is central to the story line, there are still plenty of Gallo gatherings that allow readers to check-in with Joe/Suzy, Mike/Mia, Thomas/Angel, and Anthony/Max as well as their parents and extended family, and readers know that anytime they’re all together, there’s bound to be a slew of profanity and hijinks to entertain them and prove that despite the time that has passed, the Gallos are still the same hilarious, inappropriate, and loving family we’ve grown to love.

In Worship Me, Chelle Bliss stays true to who Izzy and James are at their core as a couple as well as who they are as individuals as they work together on a case that not only pushes their boundaries due to the nature of the job, but also, allows them to actually explore their BDSM lifestyle that has been a bit dormant since raising kids and working has seemed to take over their lives. The connection that Izzy and James shares is beyond scorching, but it’s also more than that and that idea is clearly illustrated in their story.
