Hudson Pierce is my number 1 book boyfriend, so I could not wait to re-enter his world and learn about his sexy younger brother, Chandler. I wasn’t sure what to expect from the youngest of the Pierce siblings because readers only caught glimpses of him throughout the Fixed Trilogy, but I soon learned that Chandler is a guy who loves women and who feels quite highly of his “great dick of amaziness.” It was also clear early on that his family as well as those around him, don’t truly SEE Chandler for everything that he is. Of course, people see the rich playboy…a guy who seems to be unable to keep his dick in his pants long enough to do a little work for Pierce Industries, but that’s where people’s perceptions end, even Hudson doesn’t truly understand that Chandler is more than capable of taking on a bigger role in the company, ultimately taking off some of the pressure that’s on his older brother whose life now revolves more around Alyana and their children.

It’s easy for Chandler to play the role that so many people expect from him, and, for the most part, he doesn’t mind the fact that others doubt his intelligence and business skills, but there’s one place Chandler refuses to believe he’s average or less than and that’s in the bedroom – or any room for that matter where he can get a willing woman beneath him and be the giver that he is as well as get his own in the process.

So when Genevieve Fasbender isn’t panting in ecstasy after their one night together, Chandler breaks all of his rules and becomes a dominating, bossy seducer, shedding his “nice guy” demeanor and giving both he and Genny exactly what they seem to need from each other, and even though they seem completely wrong for one another and risk a great deal in being more than a one-night stand, Chandler’s a Pierce, and he doesn’t let go of something or someone that he wants regardless of how much Genny throws him off his game and changes the dynamics of his entire life.

I love the fact that Laurelin Paige allows readers inside Chandler’s head and takes us with him as he sets out to prove himself, not only to Genny but Hudson as well. Chandler’s internal musings and outlandish diatribes about those around him illustrates exactly who Chandler is at his core and why he allowed everyone to underestimate him until he finally finds the one person who allows him to truly be himself, even if he doesn’t know that side of himself yet either.

Paige captures the intense connection that’s between Chandler and Genny by playing up the sexual tension that surrounds them and by their constant barbs at one another that leaves them sexually frustrated until Chandler finds a way to work the stubbornness out of her.

Chandler and Genny’s story is a fantastic addition to The Fixed series; it’s sexy, humorous, and quite surprising, which makes it a must read!

Plus anytime readers can reconnect with Hudson Pierce, it’s always a good time;)

To the public, he’s Wilder; a magnetic man whose risky behavior and death defying stunts make him a celebrity with a multitude of fans. Rebecca Yarros does a fantastic job of showcasing Leah’s growth throughout the story. Two years ago, her life drastically changed and that incident molded her into a much different person than who she was. But as the book continues, readers witness Leah letting go…chasing a bit of the freedom that she used to feel, and it’s exhilarating as well as terrifying for both Leah and readers because the end result may leave her more broken than she already is due to the intense feelings that Paxton brings out of Leah, but it also makes clear that existing is not actually living and with Paxton, she feels more alive than she ever has.

If readers are ready for an adventure that is full of extremes then Rebecca Yarros’ newest release, Wilder, is the book to pick up because not only does it have fantastic characters and an intriguing storyline, but it also allows readers to understand the difference between being alive and actually living, and by illustrating that concept, we realize that taking risks and testing limits gives us the freedom to truly experience life in an amazing and life changing way!

Get Inked is an epic crossover event that places the Pucked series’ couples as well as Lance into Clipped Wings’ tattoo world with Hayden,Tenley, and the Inked Armor crew, which means readers get double the fun and double the pleasure with a group of sinfully sexy men and their boisterous and buxom beauties.

I’m fairly new to Helena Hunting’s Clipped Wings series, but it’s definitely an expressive setting because a tattoo artist’s craft leaves a timeless reminder on his client’s skin that showcases who he is and what makes him, him. And, when you get a group of professional hockey players together who want a permanent reminder of their days in the NHL, there’s no way their girls aren’t going to tag along and be in the presence of an excessive amount of hotness and perhaps add some metal or ink to their own bodies. 

Randy and Lily are at the forefront of this novella, giving readers plenty of time with Lily’s Vagina Emporium and Randy’s Moody Dick in all of their orgasmic glory, but Helena Hunting also gives readers plenty of time with Alex, Violet, Darren, Lance, Hayden, Tenley, and Chris, gaining more insight into what’s happening in their lives and perhaps where both series are headed, which definitely gets me excited for more of the Pucked and Clipped Wings’ characters’ antics as well as the crazy in love couples and their inability to keep their hands off of each other.

About the Author

CD Reiss is a USA Today and Amazon bestseller. She still has to chop wood and carry water, which was buried in the fine print. Her lawyer is working it out with God but in the meantime, if you call and she doesn’t pick up, she’s at the well, hauling buckets.

Born in New York City, she moved to Hollywood, California to get her master’s degree in screenwriting from USC. In case you want to know, that went nowhere, but it did give her a big enough ego to write novels.

About The Author

Tarina has spent the last 21-plus years in the Air Force trying to figure out what she wants to be when she grows up. Currently stationed in Washington DC, she will soon be packing up her twin heathens (i.e. 4-year-olds) and moving to the Middle East for a 2-year assignment.
