Synopsis

On a “search for cock,” Olivia Sullivan, the “town’s dateless wonder,” meets Catcher Mains – a man more than willing to give her vagina a thorough workout and turn her nightmarish sexual experiences into ones of utter fantasy, proving to Olivia that she definitely knows how to use her assets; she just needed the right man to help show her the way.
I haven’t read a lot of romantic comedies lately, so getting to read one that has quirky, likable characters, witty banter, and off the wall situations was exactly what I needed.
An unmarried, 30 year old mortician/coroner is bound to turn a fair number of guys off simply due to her daily job requirements, but add in the fact that her previous relationships have ended in morbidly curious ways and it makes sense that Olivia decided to keep her legs closed and her attraction temped down, remaining single because she doesn’t want to experience anymore awkward sexual encounters.
But a woman has needs and personal stimulation can only fulfill the need for so long until it becomes necessary for physical contact with another body, and so Olivia may not be a one night stand kinda girl, but she figures she has nothing to lose and only orgasms to gain when she stops off at a redneck bar looking for a man to make her cry out in ecstasy and not in torment.
Catcher Mains is drop dead sexy, and for some reason, Olivia’s profession and her quirkiness turn him on, and thankfully, Catcher shows Olivia what sex can be like with his dirty talk and dirty deeds, and when their one night stand turns into something more amidst a murder investigation, crazy antics, and extraordinary findings, Olivia must let go o her fear and hold on to Catcher because he’s ready and willing to take a number of rides with her.
Drop Dead Sexy is a charming, comedic, and steamy read that will have readers laughing out loud, rubbing their legs together, and shaking their head with the antics that ensue as the inferno between Olivia and Catcher continues to burn and the investigation that brought them together rages out of control.
