Ashlynn, Jase, and Leyton – there’s a lot to understand about how their pasts and presents link them together, and Edwards provides enough flashbacks to get a clear picture as to why Ashlynn has always defined sex as an act of desire not love as well as Leyton’s complete faith and loyalty to Max. Those small snippets of their early years together allowed me to understand Leyton’s hesitancy in acting on his feelings for Ashlynn and Jase as well as the oversexed desires that Ashlynn can’t seem to quench. Without these insights, my frustration over the games that Ashlynn was playing with Leyton and the voyeuristic tendencies that Leyton displayed without acting would have consumed me. But as Edwards weaved their histories and their current situations, it helped to wrap my head around how everything was playing out and what it was going to take for Leyton to finally give into to what he’s felt for Ashlynn and Jase for quite some time.
The Queen of Menage never lets me down. Nicole Edwards always writes stories that are deeply emotional and highly sensual, and it’s through the sexual caresses and embraces that her characters speak to each other, proving their love and loyalty even before it can be spoken aloud.
Beautifully Loyal has everything I love about a suspenseful romance – steam, drama, complications, and a bit of mayhem, and Edwards does a great job of crafting Leyton, Ashlynn, and Jase’s story by layering the text with multiple scenes of each component and adding insights from multiple characters who have a stake in the outcome of not only Leyton, Ashlynn, and Jase’s relationship but in the dark world of the Southern Boy Mafia and its enemies.

Ashlynn turned to see Jase sauntering down the hall toward her, his thigh muscles bunching with every step. She loved the way those faded jeans hugged him in all the right places, accentuating his muscular thighs, fantastic ass, not to mention the giant bulge he sported between his legs.
