Sweet Possession is book 2 in J. Daniels’ Sweet Addiction series, and it continues Dylan and Reese’s story from book 1 as they head towards wedded bliss. In Sweet Addiction, readers witnessed Dylan and Reese’s first steamy encounter and were right there with the sexy couple as they explored their wanton desires and formed a connection that, god willing, could withstand anything that’s thrown their way. Now, Dylan and Reese are ready to start their life together as husband and wife…as long as they can patiently wait for the big day amidst the doting mothers, unwanted admirers, and constant mayhem from their wonderfully loud and crazy friends.

Every woman needs their very own Reese Carroll. He’s the ultimate book boyfriend. He’s a dirty talker with a heart of gold. He lives and breathes for Dylan, and he shows her every day how much she has changed his life for the better. He’s a domineering, alpha male at times, which can be slightly annoying, but he more than makes up for it when he takes control in the bedroom and brings Reese to ecstasy in a multitude of ways. J. Daniels allows readers to see inside this complicated man and as he falls in love with Dylan and vows to protect and honor her for the rest of his life, we are able to witness all the swoonworthy and hot moments between them that were created simply because Reese wants to give Dylan the world.

Dylan is definitely my kind of girl. She’s sassy and sarcastic, and she definitely knows how to keep her man happy. I loved watching her feistiness come out when she’s bantering with Reese, and when she deliberately makes Reese jealous and go cave man on her, I wished I was in her shoes. You want Dylan as one of your girlfriend’s; she’s someone who you would willingly go out of your way for because you know she’ll have your back regardless of the situation.

Another aspect of this series that I love is the ensemble of supporting characters. Both Reese and Dylan’s friends are AMAZING! Each of them has their role in the group, and they perfectly play it. Joey is my absolute favorite; he is a fierce friend who calls Dylan out when necessary and has her back always. He cracked me up so many times in both books that I just couldn’t get enough of him. I really hope he gets his own book…at least a novella! The sisterly love between Dylan and Juls is also something that readers can connect with – they tell each other everything, and that’s the kind of friendship that we all would love to have.

I love everything about the Sweet Addiction series. The writing allows readers to fully understand and progress through the storyline with ease and the strong development of the characters is why readers feel like they’re part of the group going through all the ups and downs with them. And, don’t even get me started on the steamy sex scenes – they will definitely get readers’ heart rates up and have them longing for their own Reese time.

Daniels’ stories are definite must reads!
