Every girl has had a broken heart.

Every girl knows love hurts.

Every girl has a story.

This is mine…

My name is Maggie May and I met him under a haze of purple lights. As cliché as it sounds he was tall, dark, and handsome as hell, and I had fireworks in my eyes…literally.

It was New Year’s Eve and beneath the magic of all that glitters and shines, I fell for him and his wicked ways. The way he moved, the way he touched me, the way he brought me to orgasm over and over.

You should know that I don’t believe in love. Fairytales and happily-ever-afters are never anything I’ve dreamed of…until him.

Something changed the moment our eyes met. It wasn’t insta-lust or insta-love, it was simply him and me, and the dance floor at our feet.

The problem is our story ended three days after it started.

But now he’s back.

And he says he’s sorry.

Can I believe him?

Do I want to believe him?

He calls me his bedwrecker…but what if he wrecks me?

Add to Goodreads:

Maggie May doesn’t do labels…she doesn’t let her guard down enough to let anyone in, but she does fall in love quickly and out of it just as easily, which characterizes Maggie as quite the contrary woman.

But regardless of her disbelief in fairy tales and happily-ever-afters, her affinity for lust lands her in the bed of Keen Masters where they proceed to wreak each other for anyone else, and while Keen’s focus on success and need to prove himself ends up destroying anything he might have begun with Maggie, they both find themselves remembering their one night together and when they come face to face six weeks later, Maggie’s “Dear Keen” text and her resolve to never get back together with him is put to the test because Maggie can’t help but lust for a man in a suit, especially one who just might be her very own prince charming – one who may be a little tainted and tortured, but one who may be able to actually give her their own version of a fairytale.

Bedwrecker is a fast-paced sweet, steamy, and sassy story that clearly illustrates the idea that there are a variety of paths for people to reach their happily-ever-afters, and while some may find their way to love easily, most don’t have that luxury and have to figure out what and who they want as they go…perhaps kissing a few frogs, dealing with some wicked people along the way, and even losing themselves a bit, but Keen Masters will be the first to admit that if you truly want something or someone, your philosophy has to be “all or nothing” and while, at times, I thought his coping skills would leave him with nothing, he proves that his drive and commitment in the business world can assist him in dealing with his personal life as well, as long as Maggie May realizes that her prince charming comes with some baggage; because unlike actual fairy tales, her reality can prove to be even more fantastical with a little faith and a lot of patience.

Maggie and Keen are great characters because their imperfections make them relatable and their issues are ones that readers can understand. They’re both frustrating in their own ways, and they both make missteps that could easily unravel any progress they’ve made after Keen’s mess up, but the reason they work is because what they feel for each other is something they’ve never had and even though it may be difficult for Maggie to trust Keen and for Keen to get out of his own way, Keen’s little bed wrecker and Maggie’s best lay ever are worth whatever torture must be endured.
